The original embellished top was carefully preserved and incorporated into a flowing emerald-green dress with an elegant asymmetrical hemline.

This dress is a lovingly reconstructed piece, not a factory-manufactured garment.

The rescued embellished bodice was delicate and challenging to preserve. Fabric adhesive was used in certain areas to help secure and maintain its original decorative design.

The dress also has some visible sewing imperfections and irregularities resulting from the reconstruction process.
